Find out what one top professional punter Alan Potts is backing or laying today.
ERADICATE 2:10 Perth Lay at 2.2 or less
Eradicate was a successful lay at Lingfield last time, when his sketchy jumping and lack of fight in a finish were the key factors in his defeat. It's something of a surprise to find him at a short price again, especially as he was also beaten at 1/3 at Ludlow before the Lingfield run - connections have opted to fit him with a tongue tie today, which suggests he has a breathing problem. With Frontier Dancer likely to relish the return to 2M on good ground and Mhilu from a stable that had winners here yesterday, Eradicate looks well worth taking on again.
DREAM FALCON 2:50 Fontwell Back at 2.0 or more
Dream Falcon is no star, but he knows how to win, handles quick ground well and has had plenty of experience jumping fences - he tends to jump left, but all his career wins have been on right-handed tracks despite that, and there's no reason why he shouldn't handle Fontwell. His rivals all have big question marks - Prince Vector is a noted weak finisher with a poor strike rate and he failed to take advantage of serious blunders by the winner on his chasing debut, whilst Chunky Lad is making his debut over fences at the age of nine after showing modest form in selling hurdles. A clear round from Dream Falcon should be all he needs to score again in this weak race.
