£100k race chance for stable man
The Sun - 2010-03-16

A stable groom could pick up a £100,000 bonus if favourite Go Native wins on the first day of Cheltenham today, writes The Sun.

Alan McIlory, 35, got the groom job after his predecessor gave up the role to ride as a jockey in Ireland.

Betting Exchange WBX offers £1million to the horse team that wins all three races in the WBX Triple Crown. Go Native won two and is 7-2 for the Champion Hurdle today at Cheltenham Gloucs.

Alan said: “The bonus is beyond my wildest dreams.”
